Audrey's Angels (Cleft Repair Fund)

Donation protected
Twelve weeks ago at Barbara & Clint Spencer's routine ultrasound, they found out their daughter Audrey Sue will be born with a cleft lip and palate.

They anticipate 2-3 surgeries in the first year at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. Both Barbara and Clint are teachers; Barbara has taught art at Spring Garden Middle School in St. Joseph, Missouri for the past seven years and Clint is both a teacher and coach at Clinton County R-III in Plattsburg.

Although both Clint and Barbara are employed and have insurance, their portion of the surgical costs, travel from their Savannah, Missouri home to KC and incidentals will be substantial. This GoFundMe has been started on their behalf by Barbara's aunt, Crystal Meyer Gaitan. Every penny raised will go directly to the Spencer's.

Barbara and Clint were married in 2009. Audrey has a big brother CJ, age 4, and a big sister Frankie, age 2. CJ is in pre-Kindergarten, loves to play Avengers and play with his cousins. Frankie loves to read, dress up and play with Frank Martin, the family's cat. Frankie has been hospitalized frequently due to kidney problems.

Audrey Sue's paternal grandparents are Frank (PaPa) and Donna (MeMaw) Dennis of Paola, Kansas and Bob (Grandpa) Spencer and Sharon (Nana) Suske of Yates Center, Kansas. Her maternal grandparents are Bernie (Grandad) and Jaime (Grammy) Meyer of St. Joseph.

Audrey is due to grace the world in April.

For a $35 gift, donors will receive a Premier Designs Token of Love necklace. Wear it proudly to show you are one of Audrey's Angels.
