Audrey the Lionhearted

This is the story of a real heart warrior with a smile that will make your day and warm your soul, Audrey Jess Carter. Audrey was born August 26, 2014, with a very serious heart condition known as Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). This particular heart condition is incompatible with life without surgical intervention. This precious angel  just had her first surgery on Jan 27th and is recovering like a champ. However, since this is a specialized surgery, her parents had to take her to Miami for the operation performed by the world renowned Dr. Redmond Burke. Audrey's loving parents, Andrew and Emily, have of course dedicated all their time, energy, and funds to making sure Audrey has the best of care. While insurance certainly helps, the medical costs are enormous, especially since they are still paying the medical bills from Audrey's stay in NICU after her birth. And now many trips to Miami for preop visits and an extended stay as their baby recovers in the Miami Children's Hospital have taken a toll on their finances. They are both employed but spending a great deal of time away from work will impact their income.We hope and pray you can find it in your heart to contribute to this fund so that Audrey's parents can focus everything they have on helping this beautiful little one recover fully without this difficult financial burden hovering over them.
