Atl Hurricanes 13U Travel Team

Dear Family, Friends, and Supporters:

The Atlanta Hurricanes 13U travel basketball team would like to ask for your support for our 2018 season. This team is a formed of a dynamic group of young athletes, mostly in the 7th grade, and led by Coach Rufus Wimbush and assisted by Coach Gary Rounsaville. The majority of the team has been training/playing together for nearly 3 years and the growth and development each player has made is just tremendous! We are looking for each of them to make even greater gains this year as they ALL play on their school teams as well. This dedicated group of young men will be competing in various tournaments this season starting in March and playing most weekends until the end of June.  We will travel mainly through northeast Georgia and Tennessee with the season culminating with nationals in Florida. Your financial support of these players will help towards those expenses and we cannot thank you enough, in advance, for your contribution towards their success. While basketball is a sport, Coach Wimbush and Coach G utilizes the enjoyment to teach life lessons such as perserverance, hardwork, community, and the value of being consistently excellent. Our amazing coaches and parents will continue to plant seeds of greatness in each of them by letting them know that they are supported and you are invested in their success.
