Athena's Vet Surgery Fund

This is sweet Athena. She is a 12 weeks old pit bull puppy who is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet.  She never fails to put a smile on your face. She never barks nor does she growl.  She prefers to curl up in your lap and sleep for hours.


Athena needs to have surgery to get a plate put into repair her broken femur. She is one tough cookie although she is in quite some pain, she still manages to wag her tail.  Her surgery is scheduled for Monday, April 14th, 2014.  The cost to cover the hospital fees is $1400, $800 for the hospital stay and $600 for x-rays and pain medications, (she will have to to travel to Denver for the surgery and recovery).
