The Little House of Great Lengths Assistance Fund

My salon has been forced  to close for most of almost 15 months, my savings depleted a very long time ago, and having gone into considerable debt trying to sustain my dream of 10  years.  For  months at a time, we were forced to completely close in Toronto, while other regions were allowed to open. In the meantime, I have been fighting for
my salon and my health, and the salon has experienced some challenges that has caused it to decline physically.
I am invested in restoring the salon to it’s former glory, and be the beautiful place that I can be proud of once again and provide my clients with the little things that makes us both so happy.  I simply cannot do this while trying to
manage my personal and business debt, so I am here asking for help. This was not an easy post to make.
I am a prideful person who has managed to work her way up from nothing with hard work and perseverance. 

During closure, it seemed that the salon began to fall apart as much as I did. I am currently 2 months behind on 
rent, the bar fridge that I store milk for clients in broke completely as did my coffee maker (both 10 years old, to be fair) I can’t afford to restock colour and retail. My clips, combs and brushes have been destroyed by the amount of bleach I used to disinfect 
them. The salon needs a paint job, and my work phone has no audio so I can’t call in or out and can only receive textmessages. 

Despite  my uncomfortable feelings, here I am, asking for help to bring the salon back to proper function while
I work to attack this seemingly insurmountable debt that was forced upon me. this was not an easy thing at all to
do.
I am asking for as little as possible and am covering as much as I can by myself
(toilet paper, coffee pods, bleach, cleaners, tea)
So here we go. This is a list on what I need for the salon. I am more than happy to receive used donations of these
items and reflect that in the requested donation amount. I thank you for any small donation I receive, and if a donation is not possible, words of encouragement are always appreciated.
