Ashley's Medical Fund

My niece Ashley is a young adult who had been having lower back pain for a while. Doctors found a tumor in her spinal cord called Myxopapillary Ependymoma which had been there slowly growing for quite some time. 

 Ashley will have a challenging road ahead of her. The tumor put a lot of pressure on her nerves as well as her bladder for a long period of time; they won't know the full impact of this right away. She just came out of an intensive surgery (Nov. 8, 2017), with a surgical team of ~40 people. To access the tumor inside of her spine, at least 5 spinous process (the "finned" part of the spine) were removed. Ashley will have severe headaches and lower back pain for a couple weeks. She'll also require months of physical therapy to strengthen her back muscles where her spinous process was removed.

Ashley isn't allowed to work for at least three months; her parents will also be at the hospital to help with the therapy. Other than the medical bills, this fundraiser will help with her car loan and other monthly expenses that she will not be able to cover while she is unable to work.
