Ashley Zautcke Fundraiser - Tragic car accident

Our sweet Ashley Zautcke is a deeply loved daughter, sister, niece, friend, coworker, devoted Catholic, athlete, and an extremely talented architectural engineer. Anyone who knows Ashley knows how extraordinary of a woman she is. She has a kind, compassionate, affectionate personality that fills any room she walks into. She loves her family, her friends, and her faith unconditionally. Ashley needs our help right now. Let us all stand behind her with our faith while we give her the same love and support she has always shown every person she has crossed paths with.
On the rainy morning of April 30, 2019, Ashley was on her way to work from Pacific Beach, California. She was involved in a devastating car accident and tragically is still in a coma due to her injuries. The cause of the accident is unclear and the extent of her injuries are serious but not fully known at this time. Ashley is currently fighting for her life in the ICU, her family is by her side.
As a result of this tragedy, the Zautcke family and Ashley have a long and difficult road ahead of them for Ashley's recovery. Her parents have both taken a leave of absence from work as an ICU nurse and consultant to be by their daughter’s side. Her sister has flown in from Notre Dame where she is studying for her Ph.D. in Biblical Studies. The family is facing the reality of loss of income, tremendous medical expenses, great sadness, and uncertainty of the future.
By creating this campaign, it is our hope that we can ease Ashley and her families financial burden allowing them to wholly focus on her recovery and support of their beautiful daughter Ashley. Any financial contribution you can make is greatly appreciated. Additionally, we ask that you continue your prayers and support for Ashley and her family.
Heavenly Father, please keep your healing hands on Ashley during this time. We ask that you help reduce the swelling in her brain, repair any damage that presents itself, and help Ashley and her family during this road to a full and complete recovery. God, we know you have a plan for Ashley. Give us all strength and perseverance as we continue our prayers for Ashley.
