Tuition for College

Hi:  My name is Ashlee Neal.  I am 21 years old.  My dream is to be able to attend University to gain my Bachelor's degree in Technical Design.  My passion is the Theatre, and I want to become a Set Designer. 

I worked and took loans out so I could attend Brevard Community College in Cocoa, FL.  I graduated with my AA, with the distinction of Citizen Scholar for contributing over 800 hours in Community Service.  I was accepted into Santa Fe University of Art & Design in New Mexico and received a partial scholarship however I cannot attend without further funding.  I have maxed out the total amount of loans available to me, and due to family circumstances my parents are unable to contribute any funds towards my education and dream. 

I am determined to go, and have stepped out in faith and am going even though I do not have all the funds I need at this point in time.  It is said it "takes a village"  I am asking you to be my village, and to help me with my education so I may earn my degree and ultimately join the work force with a solid foundation and skill set. 

I have learnt along the way how important it is to be able to give, and this is something I plan to do through my volunteering in these next few years during my education.  When I graduate I know I will have the capability to pay it forward to other individuals in need.  I have myself been blessed with meeting people who not only have helped me to grow as a person, given me a place to stay, but perhaps most importantly also gave to me the understanding that I should not define myself by circumstances.  In faith I step forward.  Thank you.
