<div>Hello, my name is Arthur.
</div>
<div>On August 31st, I will celebrate my 9th birthday — and what a journey it has been so far!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My story began with many challenges. I was born with a rare heart condition called Tetralogy of Fallot with pulmonary atresia. Because of this, I spent my entire first year at SickKids Hospital in Toronto, Canada, where I had to undergo four surgeries before I even turned one.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On May 25th, 2017, my heart stopped. I went 36 minutes without oxygen to my brain, which left me with lasting effects — but I came back. I survived.
</div>
<div>And ever since, my life has entered a new chapter — filled with obstacles, but also with hope.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, I live with several medical conditions:

<div>Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephalopathy

<div>Cortical Visual Impairment
</div>

<div>In 2024, I needed two more heart surgeries.
</div>
<div>Even so, I’m still here — with my smile, my joy, my curiosity, and so much love to give.
</div>
<div>My vision is very limited, but I listen closely to everything around me. My ears are my eyes to the world!
</div>

</div>
<div>With the love and support of my parents, we hold on to the dream that one day I will be able to walk, run, play... and even speak.
</div>
<div>Every small milestone is a giant victory for us.
</div>

</div>
<div>And we've already had some beautiful wins!
</div>
<div>In December 2019, thanks to the generosity of so many people, we traveled to Panama City for a stem cell treatment. That moment was a turning point in my life — I became stronger, more aware, and full of new possibilities.
</div>

</div>
<div>Now, we believe that a second treatment, along with intensive therapy, can help me even more.
</div>
<div>And that's why we're here — with open hearts, asking for your support.

<div>No dia 31 de agosto, vou completar 9 anos de vida — e que jornada tem sido até aqui!

<div>Minha história começou com muitos desafios. Nasci com uma condição rara no coração chamada Tetralogia de Fallot com atresia pulmonar. Por isso, vivi meu primeiro ano inteiro no Hospital Sick Kids, em Toronto (Canadá), onde enfrentei quatro cirurgias antes mesmo de completar 12 meses de vida.
