HELP GIVE ARTHUR THE BEST SEND OFF 24/07/1998 -  01/11/2016 RIP MY LITTLE BRO WHO SADLY TOOK HIS OWN LIFE :-(

With a heavy heart, we share the news of the tragic loss of Arthur Stephenson, a grandson, a son, a brother and an uncle.

Arthur was 18 years old when he decided to end his life due to suffering from a mental illness from a young age.

Arthur was such a loved and cared for person; he had never caused any trouble in his life. He was always such a happy, cheeky young boy despite never knowing his father who left the family and never gave him a second thought.

He tried his hardest to stay on track with his life and even when he reached his teens he was a unique individual.

He would rather remain in studying, be reading & playing games than going out and being a typical teen.

He was always tormented at school /college and even just walking around town for being "different" and "geeky" he was so smart and had so much potential in him to live a good life, unfortunately, he just couldn't see it himself.

He was doing so well in life even the college were talking about funding Arthur to go to university because they could see how much potential he had in him.

Arthur's life had not even begun before he sadly decided to end it, he's never even tried his first beer, never experienced a girlfriend or even had the chance to experience his first job.  He applied for soo many and got turned away each time because of his appearance and confidence.

Because of his young age, Arthur didn’t have any life insurance and my mother had to stop working to take care of him and try to do what she could to make him better.  Without help from his father who still has shown no interest, she is on her own to seek to fund what she would like to be the best send off she could give her beloved son Arthur.

No parent would ever plan to fund their son's funeral, and it just should never happen. I am therefore hoping this page will help us try to give my brother the funeral he deserves.

We are also going to look into how we can contribute to creating more awareness of charities to get the world to give metal illness and depression the attention it deserves in young people.

Any amount would be so so grateful, and every donation will help our Arthur to have the best send off and show he has so much love that he didn’t realise he had.

Thank you so much for your kind donations and time xx
