HELLO Everyone,
On Friday may 22nd 2015. We discovered Arryiana was sick at daycare (throwing up, non responsive, not eating, sleeping all day). I left work early to take her to the castro Valley Hospital. She was check there and the hospital and sent us home because her vital signs were good and she didn't have a fever. So we took her home to monitor her and decided to take her to her grandmother Smith house (certified Nurse) to watch over her the next day. Saturday after Ron dropped her off at moma Smith house he then received a phone called and hour later and she stated that it seem like Arryiana was having a sezier. Ron then left and took her straight to the emergency room at Casto Valley and there she had several more seziers. I immediately left work to go to the hospital in a frantic state of mind. The hospital then had Arryiana air lifted in a helicopter to UCSF in San Francisco CA. When I arrived I then learned that my baby, my 7month old child had a massive stroke. When we first arrived she wouldn't move at all just sleep. It was the hardest day of our life to see our child in this situation and be unable to help. We have been at the hospital for a week and from my understanding we will be here a couple more weeks at least. They did find that a blood clot traveled to her brain and blocked the flow which caused the stroke. The swelling in her brain has gone down but the right side of her brain is damaged. The movement on the left side of her body is very limited and her brain has to rewire it self. On top of that she still has 2large blood clot in her arteries on both sides and a few in the brain still. There is 5 different teams of at least 5 to 8 doctors each trying to figure out why it happen how to prevent it from happening again and how to get ride of the other blood clot with out causing more damage. She can't have blood thinner due to the clots in her brain it might cause her brain to bleed. Every asking how to help and I'm not the type of person to ask for help. After talking to a few people and doctors this seem like the best way. Thank you all for your continued support. My family thanks you and we love you all.
