Areli's Community Ayurveda

Our hearts are constantly guiding us to that place we are meant to be at in that particular time. It may not always make sense to us but eventually it all comes together. It is also not always easy to follow our hearts calling but the pull of our souls deepest longings is strong. Since I was a little girl, this longing has been to be of service to Life. On this journey to serve, Ayurveda and Yoga found me.

What is Ayurveda?
"Thousands of years before modern medicine provided scientific evidence for the mind-body connection, the sages of India developed Ayurveda, which continues to be one of the world’s most sophisticated and powerful mind-body health systems. More than a mere system of treating illness, Ayurveda is a science of life (Ayur = life, Veda = science or knowledge). It offers a body of wisdom designed to help people stay vibrant and healthy while realizing their full human potential."
- Chopra Center

Ayurveda's wisdom has polished my ability to listen to my bodies, heart and mind's needs. In return I am witnessing the birth of my most authentic vibrant self. I am very fortunate to have been introduced to Ayurveda by my dear yoga teacher Laura Plumb back in 2013. However, it was not till a year ago that I truly committed to this ancient science and wisdom. At that time, I met a wonderful Ayurvedic Practitioner and Flower Fairy who has become my beloved teacher. She has inspired me and more importantly nurtured my hearts deepest longing. It is because of teachers like Laura and Titzi that I now wish to bring this ancient wisdom to this modern world.

I am happy to share that on September 2nd, 2017 I begin a 10 month program to become a certified Ayurvedic Health Practitioner. This unique program is a 750 Hours of NAMA & AAPNA Recognized Training

I have been awarded a scholarship of $1,497.00 equaling the total amount of the down payment on the payment plan. The remaining portion of tuition is $4,500 plus travel expenses. I will be traveling to Michigan three times a year to participate in the clinical portion of the training.

My goal is to fundraise $5,000.

With the wisdom received, my intention is to continue serving all Life. What I most love about Ayurveda is that it is a wisdom guided by nature. With that said, my intention is to make this wisdom available to all because Ayurvedic principles are universal. You don't need to know the technicalities of it all, because we all have the capacity and potential to listen to our own bodies, minds and hearts. My intention is to continue growing medicinal herbs and flowers to serve those who come to me for support. Given my love for children and animals, I intend on sharing Ayurveda with families so that they can better support each other.  Lastly, with my new education,  I commit to one day of free Community Ayurvedic Services per month as well as free Seasonal Ayurvedic Cooking Demos.

I am ready and so excited to dive deeper into the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda. It truly feels as if all the twist and turns my heart led me down were meant to bring me here. To this new chapter of my life story.
To this letter, to you.

THANK YOU for reading and witnessing my vulnerability, asking for help is not easy. Even if it is not in your capacity to donate monetarily please share! Deep gratitude and love for all the beings that have contributed to my journey.

“May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all <3”
