Time to Give Back to Ken and Antje

To the many Dear friends of Ken and Antje... who have asked "What can we do to help?"... please consider this link one option.
Antje Waxman was not supposed to be able to come home at 2:00 Thursday, January 11…but she had a cancellation in her schedule. She picked up chicken wraps and headed home to share lunch with her husband, Ken. They enjoyed the wraps and began to chat for a bit.
Ken had been ill for quite sometime but had recently been getting a little better. Today was an exception. He began to shiver. He was in pain. He was having difficulty breathing. Antje called 911. Ken passed away before he could betransported to a hospital…Antje as always by his side…rubbing his feet, consoling his fears.
I am but a tiny part of thecommunity that has been touched by Ken and Antje.
Ken: Charlottesville’s talented Blues musician; wine buyer, manager and connoisseur;
restaurateur;storyteller; nurturing friend…who could make you laugh while you were getting a traffic ticket.
Antje: leaving career and country to marry her dear Ken 17 years ago. Establishing herself in Charlottesville as an Egoscue therapist; Nia dance, Nordic walking and Smovey Vibra swing instructor; animal advocate; and possessor of the biggest heart I have ever known.
Ken and Antje have given, given, given to their friends and their community. And now, with Ken’s passing, the mounting financial obligations resulting from Ken’s long illness and his inability towork need our help.
Yes, now it is indeed time to give back.
Please give whatever you comfortably can for a couple who have given so much to so many.
