Hello, My name is Anthony Saporito and I am a Life Scout in Troop 131 in Holmdel, New Jersey. I am currently working on my Eagle Scout project which involves restoring the flagpole area in front of the Holmdel Fire & Rescue Station #2 on Centerville Road.
The purpose of the project is to make the area look new. It is currently in poor condition. There are old and overgrown bushes, an abundance of weeds, and a deteriorating sign that all need to be removed and replaced.
Holmdel Fire & Rescue Company #2 is a 100% volunteer organization that responded to over 400 fire calls last year. They spend countless hours away from their families while protecting our great community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. I hope that you will join me in showing our appreciation for Holmdel's Bravest.
The money raised for this campaign will be used for the purchase of materials including a brand new sign, shrubs, weed barrier, and decorative stone. I would greatly appreciate any donation you can make to help me reach my fundraising goal.
