A Final Resting Place For Annamarie

Donation protected

My sister-in-law Annamarie Hilton was only 46 when she passed away on Sunday April 27, 2014 after a hard fought, three year battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Her husband of 26 years, David Hilton, and their three sons were the perfect example of a close and loving family thanks to an incredibly generous, patient, giving and forgiving wife and mother in Annamarie. Their heartbreak is immeasurable and we all who knew her- family and friends-suffer greatly from the unreal loss of such an amazing person. David and their boys have been through so much since Annamarie's diagnosis in 2011 I feel like, at the very least, they deserve to have a final resting place in which to visit her ashes without having to wait six long years before being able to do so. The cemetery where Annamarie's ashes are to be laid to rest will only allow the burial after complete payment in full of her and her husband's burial sites which at the current rate, due to medical bills and thousands of other dollars necessary for funeral and visitation expenses, won't be possible for SIX years.

Throughout her battle with Pancreatic Cancer, Annamarie and family helped to raise money for cancer research through donations and organized events for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in the hopes that Annamarie and others afflicted with such an unforgiving form of cancer may live to see the results of their efforts. Now, with Annamarie's passing, a new cause has been created to be able to honor her and her memory through helping her family raise the funds necessary to be able to lay her ashes to rest right away. By starting this page I hope that we will quickly be able to help her husband and children attain some semblance of the closure that can come only with having a physical, permanent place in which to visit and memorialize Annamarie Hilton's memory.  May her memory be a blessing.

Thank you,

Lindsay Weiss-Hilton
