<div>Vanaf januari 2027 neem ik, Anke Taken-Ribbers, voor 6 maanden onbetaald verlof van mijn werk als crisis-casemanager bij Elver om volledig vrijwillig aan de slag te gaan in Paramaribo.

<div><strong>Mijn bestemming?</strong>
</div>
<div>Stichting Betheljada, een fantastisch en liefdevol tehuis voor kinderen en jongvolwassenen met een ernstige meervoudige beperking. Een plek die na mijn eerdere bezoeken voor altijd in mijn hart zit.

<div><strong>Waarom is jouw steun zo hard nodig?</strong>
</div>
<div>Bij Betheljada draait alles om de liefdevolle zorg voor deze kwetsbare doelgroep. Het lokale team werkt ontzettend hard, maar de zorgvraag wordt steeds complexer. Het is dan ook de bedoeling dat het team van Betheljada en ik gaan investeren in een blijvende verhoging van de kwaliteit van zorg. Samen met de directrice en de zorgmanager ter plekke ga ik intensief bouwen aan een stevig fundament op de werkvloer.

<div>We richten ons op drie concrete prioriteiten die bij mijn projecteinde gerealiseerd moeten zijn:

<div>1. Sluitende Medische Planning: Meer rust, structuur en overzicht voor de zorgteams.
</div>

</div>
<div>2. Duidelijke Dagstructuur: Optimaal ingerichte dagen, zodat er meer individuele tijd en aandacht is voor ieder uniek kind.
</div>

<div>3. Veilige Medicatieprocessen: Het vergroten van het gezamenlijk eigenaarschap en het verankeren van veilige handelingen.

<div><strong>Het doel?</strong>
</div>
<div>Dat wanneer ik na 6 maanden weer naar huis ga, het team moeiteloos en zelfstandig op dit fundament verder kan bouwen.

<div><strong>Hoe helpt jouw donatie?</strong>
</div>
<div>Omdat ik dit project volledig onbetaald doe, financier ik deze reis en mijn verblijf zelf. Dit doe ik via deze GoFundMe en het aanschrijven van diverse fondsen. Jouw bijdrage gaat rechtstreeks naar mijn noodzakelijke reis- en verblijfskosten en de begeleiding van het zorgteam.

<div>Omdat ik 6 maanden onbetaald verlof neem, maar mijn vaste lasten in Nederland gewoon doorlopen, is de huur van een veilige verblijfsplek in Paramaribo een flinke post. Met jouw steun zorg je voor een stabiele thuisbasis voor mij, zodat ik al mijn energie volledig kan richten op de zorg voor deze bijzondere cliënten.

<div>Starting January 2027, I, Anke Taken-Ribbers, will be taking a six-month unpaid leave of absence from my work as a crisis case manager at Elver to work as a full-time volunteer in Paramaribo.

<div><strong>My destination?</strong>
</div>
<div>The Betheljada Foundation (Stichting Betheljada), a wonderful and loving home for children and young adults with severe and multiple disabilities. A place that, after my previous visits, has held a permanent place in my heart.

<div><strong>Why is your support so desperately needed?</strong>
</div>
<div>At Betheljada, everything revolves around providing loving care to this highly vulnerable group. The local team works incredibly hard, but the care needs are becoming increasingly complex. That is why the Betheljada team and I want to invest in a sustainable, long-term improvement in the quality of care. Together with the local director and care manager, I will be working intensively to build a solid foundation on the work floor.

<div><strong>We are focusing on three concrete priorities to be achieved by the end of my project:</strong>

<div>1. Consistent Medical Planning: Creating more peace, structure, and a better overview for the care teams.  
</div>

<div>2. Clear Daily Structure: Optimizing daily schedules so that there is more individual time and attention for each unique child.  
</div>

</div>
<div>3. Safe Medication Processes: Increasing shared ownership and embedding safe practices on the floor.  
</div>

<div><strong>The goal?</strong> 
</div>
<div>That when I return home after 6 months, the team can effortlessly and independently continue building on this foundation.  
</div>

<div><strong>How does your donation help?</strong>
</div>
<div>Because I am doing this project completely unpaid, I am funding this trip and my stay myself. I am doing this through this GoFundMe and by applying to various grants. Your contribution goes directly toward my necessary travel and accommodation expenses, as well as the guidance and training of the care team.  Because I am taking a 6-month unpaid leave but my fixed expenses in the Netherlands continue, renting a safe place to stay in Paramaribo is a major cost. With your support, you ensure a stable home base for me, allowing me to focus all of my energy entirely on caring for these special clients.
