In March of this year, my mom was diagnosed with Leukemia. Now, after a month in the hospital, a full chemo regimen, countless transfusions, endless tests, and full bone marrow match (from her brother, my Tio Nick), she is set for a bone marrow transplant in August and is well on her way to recovery!

Due to my mother's illness, she has been unable to work. Now, more than ever, my family needs help financially. The treatment expenses along with an upcoming mandatory stay at the mayo clinic in Phoenix for 100 days have started to take their financial toll. Although the road has been rough, I know I speak for my entire family when I say that we are extremely lucky. The support we have been given from friends, family, and strangers has been overwhelming and it is that constant love and strength that has inspired me to create this campaign.
