BE A BLESSING TO A BOY IN NEED THIS HOLIDAY SEASON!
Good Shepherd Residential Center is 501-C3, non for profit residential treatment center for forty adolescent males, ages from seven to seventeen years old. The center provides therapeutic services in a structured family setting to address the clinical emotional and behavioral issues of boys in need, many of whom are wards of the state and have experienced physical, emotional and sexual abuse.
While the carefully designed treatment plans encourage a sen...se of self-worth and personal value, the center needs your help! Many times the boys arrive to the center with only the clothes on their back; lacking even the bare necessities that many of us take for granted.
Angels 4 Good Shepherd's goal this holiday season is to provide assistance to the center in the following forms.
"¢ Monetary donations to be used for bedding and other necessities
"¢ New desktop computers
"¢ PS4 gaming systems
"¢ Game Stop gift cards
"¢ New sporting equipment
"¢ Books
"¢ Wal Mart or GameStop gift cards
"¢ Gently Used Boys & Men's clothing
Your donation of one or more of the above items will go directly to the center to benefit the boys in their care. By coming together as a community, we intend to provide much-needed necessities such as clothing and undergarments as well as items that will enhance the boy's lifestyle at the center. While these items are not necessary for survival, they will provide opportunities for positive engagement thru gaming or team sports as well as provide them with the computers that are necessary for learning in today's society.
