UK Honors/Mission Trip

Hello friends!
This summer I embark on an academic/mission trip to England, from July 16 – 30. I will be involved in training and ministry opportunities that require more than I could ever do on my own, so I'm praying that God's will be done in my life as well as those lives I hope to encounter "across the pond". I invite you please, first and foremost, to become a part of this trip by extending your prayerful support to cover not only the expedition as a whole, but my role in this trip as well. Additionally, if you feel led to support me in ways beyond prayer alone, I am hoping to raise the funds to cover the cost of the trip, in order to make it possible for my attendance.
The first week consists of training in an intense seminar which focuses on giving an explanation and defending Christianity’s core message of the Gospel of Christ. Throughout the course of this trip, I'll participate in supplemental excursions to historic sites, listen in on class lectures, and read relevant materials, allowing myself a chance to learn more fully the relevence of the Gospel today. Additionally, our group will perform a drama and share testimonies so that we can witness in a public invited meeting in the university town of Cambridge as well as in churches.
At the conclusion of the C.S. Lewis Honors Seminar(the initial academic portion), I will also be involved an extra opportunity for ministry from July 26th to July 30th! This will be based in London, and is designed for those who want to extend their mission outreach days at the end of the course! The ministry outreach is coordinated in London by the historic London City Mission, the Christian Heritage of London and potentially Operation Mobilization. In church outreach events we will use drama, testimonies, and presentations with high-tech visuals to engage in neighborhood ministries in whatever ways these missions have prepared for us. One of the most historic and famous places set aside for public ministry in the world is the “Speaker’s Corner” in Hyde Park in London. Upon visiting this spot, our group intends to share the Gospel to the public using drama and other creative means of communication. Much prayer will be needed for this day on Sunday, July 26th.

Now, you've seen the scholarly and spiritually challenging plans for this trip, so I'm sure you understand my great desire to be a part of this opportunity! To attend, I must raise the funds, which collectively include: the course, the missions extension, my airfare/transportation, meals and lodging. I have faith that God will provide, though I know not yet His ways in doing so. :)

I need your help to make this mission and study trip possible. Please mark these dates on your calendar and pray daily for me during this time for my safety.
