Andy, his wife, Cissy, and daughter, Abbie, are facing what no young family should face alone"”the challenges of a double-lung transplant for Andy (Cystic Fibrosis), and special needs education for Abbie (Autism). We hope you can partner with us to help this beautiful family.
Andy, who has courageously lived with cystic fibrosis, was recently given a prognosis of less than a year to live. A double-lung transplant was the only hope for an extended life with his wife and sweet three-year-old daughter.
After multiple tests, hospital stays and consultations, the seriousness of his condition demanded priority status on the transplant list. On the evening of March 5, 2013, donor lungs became available, the match was confirmed, and in the early hours of March 6, Andy received the life-giving gift of two disease-free lungs"”a blessing beyond words.
With the sudden deterioration of his health several months ago, Andy was forced to step aside as Senior Art Director of a children's book company. The financial impact of Andy's illness is mounting.

Andy is immensely talented and respected. He is imbued with a grace and peace that surpasses understanding. His daughter needs him. His wife needs him.
