Send Andrew to 2016 PG All American

My name is Renee Moore and I am the mother of Andrew Moore.  Andrew is a rising Junior at Jackson High School in Jackson, Georgia, Class of 2018.

Andrew's first love is baseball.  He has played baseball since he was 4 years old and has excelled at it since that very first day.  As a little leaguer he was selected each year for All-Stars and as he got older began playing in the travel circuit to play against a little more competition.

Andrew was a member of the 2013 Georgia AAA State Championship team.  He currently plays for the BigStix Organization out of McDonough, Georgia and can be found on the Perfect Game trail.  As an 8th grader he started on the JV team and has been a 2 year Varsity starter or DH and was named Offensive Player of the Year in 2015 and 2016 (which are honors chosen by his teammates) and made 2-AAA All Region Player of the Year in 2016.  During the 2016 season, several D-1 College coaches came to little ol' Jackson, Georgia to watch him and it was very exciting!

This summer he was selected to be a member of Team Georgia based on his performance during the school ball season.  This team is made up of boys from different High School's representing Georgia out in Oklahoma.  He spent a week with a host family in Oklahoma as they took on teams from Canada and all across the southeast.  After returning from Oklahoma the boys that were on Team Georgia were automatically offered a spot in the Top 100 game, where boys from all over Georgia tried out for spots.

Since beginning in the Perfect Game circuit last Summer he has made All Tournament 7 different occasions (which is some sort of outstanding performance during a "tournament").  Now, based on performance while playing the Perfect Game circuit he has been invited to participate in the 2016 PG Underclass All American Games in San Diego, California in August.  As you might guess this trip will be quite costly.  This would be an amazing opportunity for Andrew and would put him in front of MLB Scouts and 100+ College Recruiters.  Andrew's ultimate dream is to play in the big league, but realizes there are steps along the way.  He is very humble and very kind and deserves this opportunity.

The cost to participate in the event is $649.00 alone.  (They are going to get their money)  Then we will have cost of flying to California (for Andrew and myself), hotel, rental car and food.  I have been able to find a flight/hotel combo for less than $1000 and a rental car for under $210.00.

We greatly appreciate the support and encouragement given to us as we were deciding how we would do this trip.  Any amount that you can donate toward this once in a lifetime opportunity will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!  Deadline for registration is August 9th if we are going to do this.  However we would need to book flight and hotel sooner rather than later to keep the cost down.
