Andrew Beauchamp Memorial Fund

On Monday July 24th, 2017, the lives of 3 young children were changed. Their father, Andrew Beauchamp was involved in a fatal vehicle accident, just East of Toledo, Oregon.

He graced this earth for 33 short years, but his love for his family and friends is a true testament to the man he was. He graduated from Toledo High School and went on to Western Oregon University. He loved playing in all sports, but football was his favorite. He loved the Seattle Seahawks, and the Oregon Ducks. If eating was a sport he would win all the awards for this.

He has worked in the Logging and construction industry, but he loved the ocean and loved to fish. He was a commercial Fisherman in both Alaska and in Oregon.

He would crack a joke, and his laugh was contageous.  He was a dreamer and one day hoped of buying his old childhood home so his children can experience the happy memories he had. He loved to recite movie quotes, and sing loud and often off key to all genres of music. His heart was huge. Anyone that met him felt that generosity and love that he had. Reading all the Facebook posts that people are putting on his wall are a true testament about his character.

But most of all he was a family man. He loved each and every one of his 3 children. Whenever he talked about each one of them he would smile ear to ear. He would do anything for them. These three were his pride and joy.

Lyrik (6) is spunky and all about putting on a dance show. Gabby (11) has had dreams of going to a design school, and has a beautiful singing voice. Payton (11) is all about computers, video games, and the wonders of HarryPotter.  All the children are devestated by this, and are greiving deeply, and are being surrounded by many family members.

Andrew wanted his children to follow their dreams. He wanted them to be themselves. But most of all he tried to teach them about loving themselves, respecting others and themselves, and give back to others whether it be a smile, a kind word, or a small gesture.

This fund is set up for the sole purpose of starting college funds for each of his children.

If you are not able to donate through this avenue,  The Newport Fishermen's Wives are accepting donations that will go to his children's college fund. You can send them to, NFW's PO Box 971, Newport, OR 97365 Please put Andrews name on the memo line.

"We will never forget him and we can learn from him, from his contribution to our own journey. Love each other the way Andrew loved, the way Jesus taught to love. Wholeheartedly. Purely. Without motive. Just love. Always love.

When you think of Andrew let your heart break a little, smile as the tears flow, and then thank God for giving us the blessing that He did- if only for a little while- the blessing we call our beloved, father, uncle, cousin, son, brother, friend."

There will be a Celebration of Life for Andrew Beauchamp on Saturday, August 26th, 1:00 pm at the South Beach Church, Newport/South Beach, Oregon. We would liker to thank everyone for the outpouring of love for our family, and the sharing of all the Andrew stories. Peace and love.
