Andrea's PT Mission Trip to Ecuador

Hello everyone! My name is Andrea Taveras and I am currently a 2nd year graduate student in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Stony Brook University.  This career has been a lifelong passion of mine, stemming from experiences I've had with both my praents at a very young age. The work of a physical therapist is both life changing and essential for those who are in need of it.  With just a few months until graduation, and with the incredible support of my parents, family and close friends, I want to take the opportunity to embark on an adventure, and offer my skills to those in need.  With that being said, this summer, my classmates and I will be travelling to Quito, Ecuador to provide free services and equipment to adults and children within the community.  I am asking for donations to help fund our trip, as well as the supplies we will need to effectively treat our patients. Any help is greatly appreciated!
