Andrea & Will Leukemia Fund

My brother Will and his wife Andrea  (Eli) have had a hard time lately.  They both have been out of work for some time.   After months of searching, Andrea found a job and starting working again.  It seems like things were looking up.   Then after working for less than an week, she didn’t feel very good.  She went to the emergency room and received shocking news.  Andrea was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia.   She’s spent over a month bravely facing the rounds of chemotherapy in the hospital in Billings, MT.   She was released in Mid-May to come home however; on a monthly basis needs to return to Billings for lumbar punctures and chemotherapy sessions, which is a 4 hour drive from her home.    The Go-Fund me campaign is to help offset the looming medical bills, so they can continue her treatments.

***Update Andrea's was notified that the process for a bone marrow transplant will be started. This is obviously a pretty big change in her treatment plan and has raised the severity of her status. Will and Andrea are now prepping to head to Seattle by July 14th to start the process and tentatively scheduled to have the transplant by beginning of August if all goes well.  They will need to stay in the Seattle area and near the hospital for up to three months after for constant care for Andrea after the transplant.   Hopefully she will be back home in Butte by Thanksgiving.
