Help Andrea Change Lives in Uganda 2013
Brethren in Christ,
God has called us to be evangelists. He has commanded us to be His disciples, and to spread His name across the nation. This summer, I plan to do just that! I have been blessed with the opportunity to go on a Missions Trip to Northern Uganda (July 15th-July 30th) with Adonai Partners. Many people in Uganda are living without the basic necessities in life such as clean water,food to eat, and a safe place to sleep at night. Most importantly, they have not known the love of Jesus Christ. The Civil War and HIV/AIDS pandemic has left millions of orphans in Uganda as well. Unfortunately a vast number of these orphans are now suffering from HIV/AIDS infection and the devastation remaining from the civil war, and not much had been done to help these precious children. On this trip, some of our goals are to:
* feed displaced people
* provide medical and dental outreach
* encourage mission work even after we leave
...and so much more!
This summer I want to make a difference, and I need your help! Each team member is expected to raise $2,750 to cover the cost of the trip. This amount covers airfare, local transportation in Uganda, living expenses, medicine and supplies needed for the trip. I am asking for donations of any size; there is no amount that is too small! Can you imagine being a small child and losing your parents and entire village to a ravenous disease and suffering? Believe it or not many people around the world don't have the necessities like clean water or a good meal. Not even the things we take for granted like multiple clothing options, name brand shoes, leisure time or entertainment. This summer I have decided to make my summer count! I am taking a trip to Uganda. I'm writing my dearest friends and family and asking for support on this endeavor. I will be leaving on July 13th and will return on July 31th, 2013. I will be joining the Adonai Partners on this trip.
During our time, we have a few goals we want to meet.
· Support the local orphanage for the children
· Comfort and feed the remaining villagers
· Teach the young Ugandans about Christ
· Build relationships with nearby Christians asking them to continue our work
I need your help to make this happen. The cost of my trip is $2,750.00. Can you give any amount to help me reach my destination? Even if you can't, I ask for your prayers before and during my trip.
