February 10, 2014

Hello Family and Friends:

I, Anaya Parnell, have been given an exciting and life changing opportunity. In 2012 I took the Florida State Test called the FCAT, this is a standard statewide test that showing if you can comprehend simple subjects, such as math and reading. I did very well in math scoring above my schools average of 227 with a 231, but I really did well in Reading, so well that I got every single question correct. I was recognized by my school, the school district and the Florida State Senator. Since then my scores on the FCAT have remained above the school levels, I maintain a 3.80 grade point average, because I have mastered Reading, I no longer have to take reading in Middle school, so I am taking regular Science and Advanced Science, I am also taking High School Algebra and Information technology, I am maintaining an A in both of these courses. I am a Dean's Assistant; I belong to Future Business Leaders of America. I am also the president of Delta Academy, The Middle School Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, and I was just accepted to the Veterinary Science Academy Program for High School. Because of all these accomplishments, and my continued academic success, I have been selected to travel to Europe as a People to People Student Ambassador for 20 days starting on June 27, 2014. I will visit England, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland in these twenty days. You may also go on to peopletopeople.com and click on the European Heritage Tour to learn more about it. This is a very expensive trip and this is why I am reaching out to all my family and friends to help me fund this trip. The total cost of tuition for this adventure is going to be $7,330. Although I have awesome parents, and grandparents, they can't fund this trip themselves. I am looking into scholarships and fundraisers, but any help from family and friends will help me tremendously. I have created a pay pal account ([email redacted]) and also this gofundme.com account (http://www.gofundme.com/6sm6h8) to make it easy for everyone to donate without the hassle of the U.S. Postal Service. You just simply go on gofundme.com website and follow the directions or the pay pal website and select make a payment, enter my email address, your payment amount and method and it sends it to me. I can also take money pack payments in which I can load into my pay pal account. This is the safest way to receive money, keep track of who is sending me money and keep the money in a safe placed that can't be touched by anyone but me. When I reach my goal, I will simply use my pay pal account to pay my tuition. I will keep a goal bar on my Facebook page and inform everyone by text messages or phone calls. Thanking you in advance.

Sincerely,

Anaya
