Help Ana

Ana is a loving mother of two, a dedicated wife, devoted catholic, and an inspiration to all that no matter what adversity we face-there is always a reason to smile. A month before Mother's Day of 2014, Ana was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a rare cancer that forms in the white blood cells. She was told that she has 6 months to live. After some further insight from other doctors, a glimmer of hope gave her time. Time was all she needed. Time to fight, time to love the moments with her family, and time to create as many memories as she could before she embarked on the toughest journey of her life.  Ana was advised to quit her long time job at a local urgent care, due to her illness-leaving her husband to work two jobs to keep up with their finances. They have two children, one of which is in college as well. Although Ana's family was devastated by the news, she continued to have an amazing outlook on life, smiled every minute, and stayed true to her faith during a time where most people crumble. After countless doctors appointments and spending multiple days home on the couch, she finally started her Chemotherapy treatments.  Although weak and feeling the side effects to the chemo, she still remained a positive force to her family and friends. One week ago, Ana was admitted into the hospital to begin her bone marrow and new white blood cells transplant. This process wipes out her immune system, leaving her to re cooperate in the hospital for 3 weeks, before she starts another round of chemo.  We are friends of Ana's daughter, and see the amazing strength Ana radiates on a daily basis. Her positive outlook on life and beautiful spirit truely make one feel blessed to be in her presence. She is a guardian angel and was put on this Earth to teach us all a lesson- to be grateful for each day and never stop smiling. We ask that you pay it forward and give to this loving family going through an unimaginable experience. Anything will help to pay for their hospital bills/expenses that pile up daily. Thank you for taking the time to read Ana's story, and please say a prayer to help her through this time.

Thank you.
