Anabel is a single mother and head of household of 3 children, daughter Alexa, and sons, GianCarlos and Giomanni. They reside in Camden, NJ. On September 25, 2014, Anabel was rushed to the emergency room due to severe abdominal pains and was diagnosed with Diverticulosis. Diverticulosis happens when pouches (diverticula ) form in the wall of the colon . If these pouches get inflamed or infected, it is called diverticulitis. Diverticulitis can be very painful.
Doctors aren't sure what causes diverticula in the colon (diverticulosis).
Anabel worked as a pharmacist technician for 18 years when the owner decided to close the business in 2013. Since then she has held part time and temporary jobs to maintain the home. As the sole provider of her household she has struggled to make ends meet. Since being in the hospital over a week she has not been paid for her leave from work. Doctors have concluded that she will need colon resection surgery and will be in the hospital another 2 weeks. Anabel will have to be on bed rest for almost 3 months to heal from the procedure.
We ask that all her family, friends and those with big hearts help the family in their time of need in order to assist with living expenses and the medication she will need purchase. We appreciate anything you can offer, especially your prayers for her speedy recover.
