I am attempting to raise funds for my 2 month old niece, Luisa, who lives in in the Philippines. She has been diagnosed with Down syndrome and Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD). VSD is a congenital heart defect resulting in a hole in her heart.
Luisa is the youngest of four children. She is very sweet and brings so much happiness to the rest of her family. Her family is unable to afford the surgery and is struggling against time to save Luisa. Every day activities as simple as feeding are difficult in her condition.
The public hospital is demanding 400,000 pesos, or $9,000US for this vital operation, up front. They will not perform anything without money first and do not offer financing options! I am pleading with all my heart for those of you who can spare it, to help us save her life before it is too late.
