I need help affording my surgeries, I feel like I'm losing years of my life to being trans.

I was on track to have my surgery this year, but I was laid off from my job as a software engineer after being promised a raise on the January of 2024. I haven't been able to find employment yet, so I'm no longer able to save for my surgery.

After the new year and after seeing the state of the world, I thought that enough is enough, I can no longer hide, I'll do all it takes to get my surgery and live my life while I can! Saving for my surgery while dealing with illness can be very hard as I am also dealing with diagnosed fatigue.

Currently, where I live, Facial Feminization Surgery(FFS) is considered "cosmetic" and that cannot be further from the truth. For many of us, we watched our bodies morph and shift against our will in the wrong way. This can be a source of trauma for us. It might look "just fine" to the average person, but I watched my body and face shift as I was fighting for my rights and for my anti-androgens in Iran, and I want that damage reversed. On top of this, life as a trans woman can be incredibly difficult, even more so if you don't "pass".

It hurts to live your life and waste your youth knowing that an incredible cure exists and the only thing keeping you away from it is money. These surgeries are sadly extremely expensive and it will take me many many years to save for them on my own.

The funds will be used in combination with my own savings to pay for my surgery and accommodations
