**Amber's -St. Thomas Relief Fund**
Hi Everyone:
*Please note per GoFundMe's policy:
As friends of Amber Guilliams (Makena Marie - based out of Arizona & Anna Gilbreath - based out of Texas) as incredibly close friends, we have come together to create a fundraiser to support Amber Guilliams. All funds will be distributed directly to her Mother, Shari Guilliams - based out of Saginaw, Texas ( as Amber has no access to email but can receive money from her Mother as their bank accounts are through the same bank)
Neither Makena or Anna will receive any funds and Shari Guilliams (Mother) will be the benificiary of this fundraiser. So far the only way Amber has received any money is through funds sent from her Mother. To meet GoFundMe's regulations: all funds will be used to help Amber will bill's (House, gas for generator, food for her and both Cowboy and Dallas, supplies or medical necessities)
On September 9th, she was residing in the Virgin Islands (St. Thomas) when Hurricane Irma tragically devistated most the island.
Her entire house is trashed, flooded and inhabitable for her and her two fur babies. Further, the entire island was affected, leaving scarce food, no shelter or jobs for the upcoming months.
This GoFundMe campaign has been created to directly help our friend Amber at this time. We hope and pray that we will be able to help others on the island as soon as possible but until an official update has been posted, PLEASE TAKE NOTE that this fundraiser is to help support one of the most amazing women God has put on this earth.
Amber is one in a million and has a heart the size of TEXAS (also her home state) We can't stress enough how kind, generous and selfless she is and would help ANYONE in a blink of an eye.
It's now time for all of us to come together and help & support her through this crisis. Not only has she endured Hurricane Irma (literally the largest Hurricane to ever hit the Atlantic) she and the rest of the people on the island have also been hit by Hurricane Jose and endured minimal impact from Hurricane Maria. That's 3 hurricanes in less than a MONTH!
Currently, like most islander's Amber still has bills but with all the devastation from the hurricane many have lost their jobs.
It's heartbreaking that St. Thomas has gone through such a tragic events and now food is so scarce, shelter's are full and running low on EVERYTHING and the power in the island is still out. If you're lucky you MAY have a generator but as of two weeks ago gas was over $75 per gallon!
Please know your donation will go towards helping Amber literally to have her home and not be on the streets with no where to go, you'll be providing food, supplies and protection for her and also helping us find a way to bring her, Cowboy & Dallas home. From what she has gone through, the screaming winds of the hurricanes, the fear of someone breaking in at night or if she'll be able to ration the little bit of food she stocked prior to Irma (having no idea 2 more hurricanes would hit) is quickly running out. It's something most of us can't even comprehend and heart breaking to even think one of the most beautiful women (inside and out) Granddaughter, Daughter, Sister, Niece, Goddaughter, Cousin and friend do so many is suffering in so many ways. It's physical, emotionally and mentally draining and we pray this fundraiser goes above and beyond to support Amber.
