Amanda's going to the Philippines!

Dear Family and friends,

            Starting on January 5th I will be embarking on a 3 month adventure in the Philippines!

            In the past I have been on 2 short term missions trips and have since wanted to go on a missions trip that was a bit longer so I would be able to get to know a culture and the people in the country on a longer-term.

            I will be going out to work with World Harvest Ministries in Manila. Their mission is to introduce Christ to others using common ground and to challenge Christians to a more enthusiastic and exciting walk with Christ. I will going out to help serve and help out in any way they can use it! Helping in the orphanages, the school, and the camps. Here's where I need your help!

            I have around 4 weeks to raise $3,500, which might sound like an intimidating number but it's really not that bad. If  you are willing to donate I have created a website where you can donate online, or you can write me a check. Any little bit you are willing to donate greatly helps me get closer to my goal! The $3,500 covers all my expenses for the 3 months, including my airfare.

            Along with needing financial support I need prayer support! I have a lot to do in the little time I have before I leave. I need prayer leading up to my trip, and for the time I'm also in the Philippines!
