On the weekend of August 25th-27th, my daughter Amanda and her son Maddox were severely effected by the rain of Tropical Storm Harvey. They were forced to pack their car with as much as they could and leave the rest of their belongings in hope that it wouldn't be affected by flooding. They relocated to safe housing and the next morning they got the news that she feared. Her apartment had 6 plus feet which has consumed everything inside. She moved to this apartment 27 days ago in hopes of a new start for her and Maddox. Unfortunately flood insurance doesn't take affect until 30 days after move in date, which makes everything inside a total loss.
Amanda will need to replace all the possessions that held her and Maddoxs memories. She'll need all new furniture, clothes, and household goods. She isn't quite sure where she'll move to so temporary housing will be needed as well.
At this time I am trying to help my daughter and her son in any way possible. I simply ask if you can help give them a boost to restart and get back on their feet. I'm hoping that together we will rally around them with love and support to make this an easy transition for her and Maddox.
I am asking you to please open your hearts in assisting them with any donation you can. Anything will make a huge difference in their lives during this devastating time.
God bless you and thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help.

More picture will come once she's been cleared to enter the premesis
