Update #3 - We FINALLY have a surgery date; 12/1/17 * Thanks again to those of you who have kept Alyna in your prayers, and donated &/or shared this post. We will post updates as her battle against cancer continues... Please keep her in your prayers & continue sharing this post, as, even though it's taken our health care system 3 long months to address the cancer, her battle has barely begun.
She has become much weaker during these months, and she is so concerned about providing for her young son during the months to come, when she will not be allowed, or able to work .

Everything changed last week when we learned that our mother was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer.
No matter what we face, we are determined to remain strong and get her through this with FULL Recovery.
Our mother, Alyna, is a caring, creative and bright soul, who has given her 'all', while devoting herself to the lives of her children. As a single Mom, she has also managed the many struggles of her own life with tremendous grace and faith. She is now at a crossroad though, and will need that faith to carry her through what may very likely be the toughest battle of her life.
We hope to raise money to relieve her of financial burdens, since she may be unable to work/support herself, while undergoing required surgery and treatment. We want to give her the sense of security that she deserves, as we believe it will ease and accelerate her healing process. Proceeds will go toward her living expenses and required therapy throughout this difficult journey.
Though we are unsure of what will evolve during the process of eradicating this disease from her body, we do know that it is going to take a lot of will and energy on her behalf, and those who care for her. We are taking it one day at a time and will continue to be strong in faith in the days to come.
