Standing with our Sister Angie

As most of you know, Angie  was recently diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called clear cell odontogenic carcinoma. On January 10th, she will have an invasive surgery to remove the lower left half of  her jaw. As if this isn't bad enough, her leg will also be operated on as they replace her jaw with the fibula from her right leg. This will bring many challenges alone but also make it difficult to care for her 20 month old daughter, Tessa. Angie's Mom was recently placed in a nursing home also so the family is spread a little thin on help.

 

Not only is Angie my "sister daughter" of the best sorority around;  Alpha Gamma Delta but she is an amazing friend. She has been there for me more times than I can count. She is a blessing to everyone who has the pleasure to know her. She unselfishly gives herself to others without having to be asked.  I'm certain that everyone who knows her has been touched by her endless giving. I thought as a family because I know that's what we all are to her, we could give back  to her during this challenging time. My goal is to raise enough money so that she and her husband Chris do not need to worry about any medical expenses, childcare expenses during her recovery time or daily living expenses such as meals as she heals.  Let's make sure Chris can focus solely on her and Tessa and we'll have the other things covered.
