Alli's Surgery Fund

To all of our friends and family,

Alli has been given an amazing gift and opportunity, a more healthy and fuller life and a possible family. After numerous closed doors and seemingly limited options, a very gifted surgeon in California has developed a way to repair/correct Alli's heart condition that she was born with. This incredible opportunity has been a direct answer to our prayers. It will give Alli the ability to have full oxygen capacity allowing her to exercise more fully without getting tired. The repair would likely allow Alli to support a healthy pregnancy and provide a family they never thought was possible.

However this undertaking will be a large task. Travel for pretesting, numerous flights back and forth to California, time off from work, sheltering Dylan, and time in California and Texas for recovery all complicate finances. Thankfully there is health insurance coverage but the added costs of deductibles, monthly premiums, copays, and out of pocket expenses will amount into the thousands of dollars. But regardless of the costs, we will begin this journey soon. Pending testing, the suregery will fall within the next six months. We will keep you posted on the scheduled date per our blog. 

Obviously if you are on this website you probably understand its concept, but it doesn't make it any easier for us to ask for help. It is even tougher to even accept it. We have been advised to raise support so that we nor our families are solely bearing the burden.

So here we are. If you feel is on your heart to donate, that gesture would be truly incredible and appreciated more than you can imagine. Honestly it can be $1, $50, $100, or as much or as little as you want. This is a very secure site and has a good reputation for fundraising. 

We also know that not everyone can donate and money is tight for so many, so please do not feel bad or guilty or pressured if you can't support us. We would really appreciate more than anything a ton of your prayer. Prayer that everything will come together and go smoothly.
