Alexis Steele Medical Expenses Fund

Alexis Steele needs monetary support to get back to her feisty artistic self. She was hit by a drunk driver in July 2017.  Her car was totaled. She survived miraculously - she needed to be airlifted from Hemet to Moreno Valley to get the trauma care she needed to live.
 She has had several surgeries and now has rods in her arm and leg. Her left knee was shattered.  These bones were broken: left collarbone, left femur, right forearm and right leg.  She also has a lacerated liver (doctors are watching it - hoping it will heal on it's own to avoid getting a transplant).
Alexis is now at a skilled nursing facility - only for a week. She will be sent home without any medical support because her insurance company doesn't think it is a medical necessity.   Alexis is unable to take care of her basic needs (feed herself, go to the bathroom, grooming needs). She will need to learn how to walk and write again.  She needs to get strong enough to endure three hours of intense physical therapy.  She needs money to pay for her medical caregiver, and unanticipated medical expenses and living expenses since she's unable to work.
