Alexander's Amazing Opportunity!

Donation protected
For those of you who don’t know my younger son, Alexander, he is an amazingly bright, kind and mature young man of almost 13.  He attends 7th grade in a advanced placement and is in the International Bachelorette 8th grade program as he excels in mathematics.   He and I have been discussing traveling to Washington D.C. for a couple of years now as I know what an opportunity it is.  Alex is very interested in history and already has a fund of knowledge in US history that far exceeds my own.   We discuss what a great adventure it would be and I still feel that we could do it “someday”.  It just never seems to happen.  During the past year or so I have also been unable to leave as my parents and other family needs me here.  There have been many medical complications and financial setbacks.  So then along comes the opportunity for Alex to attend through a wonderful school program in 8th grade.  I am starting now as I know the cost is high.  He attends a school where many of the families can afford such a luxury. :) He is so patient and works so diligently and never expects things from others.  He is so kind and would give you his last dollar.  I don’t know how I got so lucky (I have two wonderful sons.)   I just really hope to give him this opportunity that he's so deserving of!
