Alex Herrington's Leukemia Fight

Alex Herrington was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in January 2018. To say that our dear friends were shocked by this diagnosis is an understatement. This has been life-changing for everyone who knows and loves this family.

This type of leukemia is extremely rare for a 28 year old and there are a lot of hurdles ahead. Alex has just completed her first round of chemo and will possibly need a bone marrow transplant in the next few weeks, followed by three to four more rounds of chemo. She has handled each step and setback like a champ. Through all of this, Alex remains positive, strong-willed, and has maintained that witty sense of humor along with that precious smile.

Friends and family have expressed their wish to help the Herrington family and because of Alex's limited environment and need for continued support after her hospitalization, we have created this support page to help with any expenses associated with her illness.

Alex also wants everyone to know that any funds not used to support her treatment and care will be directly donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
