Get Alec Back On His Feet.

Donation protected
Alec was on the official Film Team at Boomtown 2019 and suffered an accident on the Saturday evening while covering Pennywise's headline set.

This accident has led to Alec undergoing 2 surgeries so far and means he hasn't been able to walk or work since August. He is still immobile and is yet to have a confirmed, or even estimated date for his final surgery.

Alec has had to rely on and move in with family during his recovery. He's also had to cancel all current and upcoming work due to a lack of a final operation date, and impending physio/recovery.

Please share what you can in an effort to help getting Alec back on his feet, and to make the road to recovery a little easier.

If you have watched the Boomtown After-Movies, you'll most likely have enjoyed Alec's efforts behind the camera. He's an integral part of the team and unfortunately had his weekend cut short whilst trying to capture part of the Downtown madness for us all.

Boomtown HQ are in no way to blame for the accident and have been super helpful in trying to assist, but all legal avenues have now been exhausted. Pennywise refused to comment, other than a message from Fletcher saying he was just trying to help get 'some unique footage'.

Any funds raised will simply go towards covering the living costs Alec has incurred whilst being unable to earn his own income.

The Accident.

While shooting Pennywise, a member of the band took his camera on-stage, a 6kg, £5,000 set-up, and threw it in to the crowd. Thankfully it didn't injure anyone it landed on, but Alec had to jump in to the crowd to try and retrieve his equipment. Jumping the fence and somehow finding his kit, Alec sustained a broken leg and a broken ankle from the impact on landing. He managed to snap his foot back in to place whilst lying on the floor of a Pennywise pit. He then spent 3 days in hospital, missing the rest of the job and trying to piece together all of his kit and belongings left on-site.
He's unable to put weight on the leg until all screws/pins are removed in the final operation.

Anyone who knows Alec, will know that a man with this much energy shouldn't be sat still for this long.

Please give what you can and get Alec running around again!
