<div>Post 3 was established in Ketchikan, Alaska, in 1919 before statehood. The post has served Veterans and the community of Ketchikan for over 100 years.

<div>Although the building, historic documents, and irreplaceable military memorabilia have been lost, the American Legion stands strong because of its members and mission. We will come together and rebuild! We will continue “to safeguard and transmit to posterity the principles of justice, freedom and democracy.”
