My friend Al is a trans guy. He is an inspiration to everyone who knows him. Having survived some of the most horrible things a person can endure, he still manages to be a tireless leading fighter in the CT LGBTQ community. He has given endlessly to people, and now he needs your help to get the top surgery he's needed for so many years.
Dysphoria is a terrible condition for trans people to deal with, one that for many can only be combated through an appropriate degree of physical transition. However, these crucial procedures are horrifically overpriced in the US and are scarcely covered by insurance.
Your donation is needed to help cover the $6,000 top surgery (double mastectomy), as well as the hospital bills that will come prior to and after the surgery itself.
Al needs our help to be able to live functionally and be able to continue doing the important work he does. Please help!
