Sierra Leone is at the nucleus of my accomplishments thus far. It is important to continuously build upon your foundation for those of the future. I would like to announce that I will be returning to my native home, Sierra Leone, to run for a seat in Parliament. I have dedicated my life to serving others, and I am now calling upon you to assist me in that journey. Sierra Leone has remained at the roots of my growth throughout my tenure in NYC politics. This is the time for me to take my experiences and exposures to the soil that is dear to my heart. I do not hope to change Sierra Leone, but to build upon the great place that has raised my siblings and I.
My efforts will continue to reflect the need for access to all Sierra Leone citizens. Prior to my return I have been persistent in stressing the need for congruent access to natural resources and infrastructure opportunities in our plentiful nation. Parts of my endeavors in Sierra Leone include establishing better sanitation control, access to clean drinking water, education, employment opportunities, and a community center that will unite the community in many capacities.
It is imperative I return to Sierra Leone to see these efforts through. My return will allow me the opportunity to be closer to those in need of my advocacy. I am calling upon you to contribute to the future of Sierra Leone. This journey is much larger than me, and extends to the elders whom inhibit wisdom and the youth whom are the key to our future. I have been called to seek a role of leadership that extends beyond my tongue, but to my actions. My visions for Sierra Leone are not beyond reach, but realistic goals all of us should work towards achieving. I humbly ask you extend your support in helping me to turn these goals into reality sooner than later.
