Kaytee's Birthday Fundraiser

Hi Friends,
As many of you know, I will be departing on a 2 week service trip to Madagascar in early April. While there we will be visiting the Akany Gazela Girls Home in Moramanga. This boarding school does some amazing work helping young women in the area get secondary education.
The main event for my fundraising will be a Birthday Happy Hour at Double-Wide (505 E 12th St, New York, NY 10009).
A little more about Akany Gazela Girls Home:
Most rural areas around Moramanga do not have high schools, so youth have to leave their homes to get middle & high school training. Without the boarding school, these girls would be living by themselves or they would have dropped out of school. The boarding home plays a key role in helping young girls complete their secondary school education without exposing them to the dangers of living alone or under-supervised in a large city like Moramanga.
Akany Gazela is currently hoping for the funding to hire tutors and an assistant mentor. It is my goal for my birthday on the 21st of March to raise as much money as possible to help them acheive this modest yet vital goal and present them with the money in person while in Madagascar.

Any donations I receive will also be doubled because an amazingly generous donor has already agreed to match the amount raised!
Because "GoFundMe" does not function in Madagascar and internet acess being very limited there, I will be withdrawing any donated funds and personally be delivering them to Akany Gazela.
