I want to thank all my friends and Samaritans for their donations and support. God bless you!
I would like to share how I am doing today. I feel better every day with more energy in my body. That makes me feel that I can continue my life as it was before. However, the reality is different, I have not had work since my hospitalization (April 2018). As my recovery has been slow, it has been an obstacle to return to teach dance. First of all, I used to work in schools that in general the new school year begin in August, because of I was in recovery I could not renew my work contract. I needed more time to feel physically and mentally strong. Secondly, because I work with my body it has been impossible for me to return to teaching. Third, in October I felt much better to work, but at that time there are not employment contracts in the schools and organizations with which I did usually work. Consequently, I still need financial help to meet the minimum daily needs that every human being should have.
Help me to get the goal. I need to raise at least $5,800 dollars to pay the rent and to cover the basics.
I would appreciate any donation of $5 dollars $10 or anything you feel in your heart. Thousand thanks!!
This Recovery Fund was set up with the hope of easing the burden. Thank you for your support.

My name is Adriana Sanchez. I am a dance teacher, choreographer and artistic director of Colombian Soul Dance Company. On April 11, 2018, I was hospitalized for a hard and deep pain in my abdomen, which had started on April 9 and I though it was going to go away soon. It was eventually diagnosed that I had appendicitis, that the procedure was going to be easy and that I’d be going home in few hours.
The truth was that I got peritonitis and I was at the hospital for one month. I lost 25 pounds and my muscle mass. My recovery has been very slowly and painful. Until now, it has taken 3 months at home, slowly recuperating.
I need to raise at least $5,800 dollars to pay the rent and bills I owe already.
