Admiring Autism

'Admiring Autism' is a photographic project which wishes to photograph the Autistic Community and share their shine, debunking myths and sharing a piece of your life. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the serious lifelong condition and hopes to publish the work gathered throughout the project.

"˜Admiring Autism' is currently in the process of applying for a grant from the British Arts Council to fund the expansion of this project with the aim of photographing and reaching out to the Autistic Community and creating a visual platform. However, the Council requires that 10% of the requested fund is raised by other means.

Therefore I am turning to you, to help me raise as much towards the 10% that is requested by the Arts Council. With the funds I will be able to travel to families who wish to help visualize their experiences.




My long term goal is to exhibit the work captured from "˜Admiring Autism', inviting all the people and families photographed, with any proceeds going to an Autistic charity. Sponsor's of Admiring Autism will help fund our celebration of Autism Spectrum Disorder, with the funds enabling me to travel and access different members of the community.
