After the Fire -a Benefit for Adam

From the ashes of a house fire on Thursday, January 12, 2017, a dream was placed on our hearts to build a handicapped assessable back yard with a therapy pool for a very special friend, Adam Malone.  Our dream is for Adam's backyard to be a beautiful and peaceful place made wholly accessible to him . . . where he feels independent . . . And knows how much he is loved. 

You see, Adam has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.  Over the years, he has lost his ability to walk and is now dependent upon a wheel chair for mobility.  Last year, he lost his home to a fire.  This is a lot of loss for a 16 year old, but Adam handles the hardships of this life with wonderful sense of humor and a smile that melts your heart. Although his family has spent the past year rebuilding their home, the possibility of creating a handicapped assessable back yard for Adam was just not in reach. Without correcting the steep slope of the backyard, it is completely inaccessible to Adam.  BUT, with much financial support, prayer and willing hands to build this special place, Adam will be able to independently enjoy going outside again and to have access to a therapy pool on a daily basis. 

Our goal is $100,000 so that we can create a special place for this wonderful, caring, witty and bright young man to regain some of his independence. Please join us and help us to raise the money to turn our dream into a reality and a blessing for Adam!

Irrigation = $5,000
Drainage = $5,000
Concrete = $10,000
Lighting = $4,500
Grading = $2,000
Tree Removal = $3,500
Planting = $17,500

Sub-Total = $97,500

7% Sales Tax = $6,825

Total = $104,325

Again, these numbers are estimates.  Any overages we receive will go towards covering future medical expenses for Adam.
