<div>As you read this, at least four types of forests in Bolivia—the Chiquitania, Amazon, Savanna, and Montane forests—are being consumed by flames.

<div>A staggering 4 MILLION hectares—larger than Belgium or Switzerland—of virgin forest have already burned, driven by drought and human actions. These fires have devastated entire ecosystems, killing countless trees and wildlife in just weeks.

<div>The government is unwilling to respond, <strong>leaving it to us, civil society, </strong>to take this catastrophic situation into our hands. <strong> </strong>

<div>Local heroes, brave volunteer firefighters from affected communities are battling these fires with minimal equipment, urgently seeking national and international support.

<div><strong>They are specifically asking us for funds to purchase water trucks and essential materials. </strong>
</div>
