We at Ace Boxing Club, focus on at-risk and under-priveleged youth within Milwaukee's south side community, teaching them respect, discipline and values that help them throughout the rest of their lives.
There are no barriers to entry at Ace Boxing Club, all are welcome!
The Porter family has been boxing for over a century and Frank Porter has continued his father Del Porter's legacy of teaching the youth of Milwaukee about boxing, respect and community values.
It is used as a vehicle to instruct sportsmanship, values of conditioning a positive release of frustration and energy, as well as building self confidence and character.
Amateur boxing can also give today's youth the opportunity to satisfy that basic human need of recognition in a positive manner.
