In Memoriam : Rest In Peace Abbot

I cannot thank you enough for your extremely generous support for Abbot.  Last night, sadly, Abbot lost his battle to cancer.

No other experience in my life has taught me more about responsibility, love, loyalty and compassion than the best friend I got three and a half years when we rescued each other.

I strongly encourage all of you thinking about getting a dog or a cat to adopt.  There are no bad dogs out there, just bad owners, and these guys just need a chance.  I promise you, it will change your life.

There are shelters for every single kind of breed out there, including designer breeds, that are filled with dogs and cats that need good homes that came from an abused situation or raised in a puppy mill. 

 

I also encourage you not to buy from a pet store as this is the cash keeping puppy mills alive.   

Since his treatment ended abruptly, there is about $500 that we raised that he didn't get to use.  With this, I am going to make a donation to Bid-a-wee, the shelter I got him at that made a youtube video about him to promote his adoption, in all of your names.
